"Evans has been with us for a long time, and he's always willing to jump in and lend a hand. Actively taking part in the Away Mission part of The Pandora Effect, he incorporated both humor and originality in his posting. Despite his lack of extensive combat training, Evans braved a dangerous mission that more than once nearly cost him his life. He was - and is - a pleasure to work with." -- Commander Earlond, Executive Officer (The Pandora Effect)

Character of the Year
Awarded Mon Feb 22nd, 2010 @ 3:11am
|
"Lieutenant Commander Evans has been a significant contributor to simming aboard the Tethys for over a year and a half. In the past year, he has gone above and beyond the call of duty, both in and out of character, on numerous occasions. In addition to writing with other members of the crew, Evans is the driving force behind Dr. Anthony Haelen (NPC), our Emergency Medical Hologram. The amount of effort and development Evans has put into both his own character and this NPC are phenomenal. Always one to provide praise for another crewmembers work, Evans has nominated many of his fellow players for various awards or contacted them personally via PM to provide encouragement and praise. I think Lieutenant Commander Evans is a prime candidate for Character of the Year." - RAdm Iluvar, USS Pandora

"Commander Michael Evans, MD has been both an active and valued member of the USS Pandora since the day he first set foot aboard this vessel. Not only has he made an effort to connect with his fellow simmers through joint mission posts and character development, he has put the betterment of the simulation ahead of himself time and time again. His efforts have earned him the respect of his fellow simmers and a recent appointment to the position of Executive Officer with a promotion to the rank of Commander. I look forward to seeing what he will continue to bring to the table, both in and out-of-character, in the future." -- Vice Admiral Iluvar, Commanding Officer, USS Pandora |
