Not only has he made an effort to connect with his fellow simmers through joint mission posts and character development, he has put the betterment of the simulation ahead of himself time and time again. His efforts have earned him the respect of his fellow simmers and a recent appointment to the position of Executive Officer with a promotion to the rank of Commander. Recently, he took a giant leap and accepted the position of Executive Officer, though he often complains that he misses his 'old job' (rest assured it is all in jest...I think). During this mission, Earlond demonstrated a shining example of leadership in guiding the away team, which was isolated from the rest of the simm both IC and OOC, in performing admirably throughout their adventures. But...I cannot give this award to everyone, and so I have decided to award the Captain's Merit to Ensign Hannah Andeti for her quality contributions to this simm since she joined.
