==Layout==
The lab is a semi rectangular room. One end forms a large dome on which information can be displayed; a circular area below the dome is raised, and a short series of steps on each side lead down into the control area. The main controls are operated from a series of curved work stations that form a triangle around the officer on duty. Other stations line the walls to the left and right; there are three station on each side of the room. The fourth wall contains a door leading into the corridor. The main screen can display a variety of schematics, from an overview of the entire Galaxy to a display of Pandora's most recent or projected course. It can also be used as a conventional viewscreen to establish face to face communications with other ships.

The lab is also equipped with communications system that can be used to receive and transmit data in numerous formats, including a holographic data stream.
