Just a Few Housekeeping Details

As the title of this news post implies, I have just a few housekeeping matters that I'd like to bring to everyone's attention regarding our current mission, the USS Pandora, and Horizon Fleet as a whole.

The joint mission post "The Time is Near" will be posted sometime today, marking the official end to the Board of Inquiry. Iluvar has been reduced in rank and stripped of his position as Task Force Commanding Officer, but he has been allowed to retain command of the USS Pandora. Keep an eye on our Mission Discussion Forum for more information about our upcoming mission, "Confusion in the Cluster", and the events that will be transpiring in-character between now and then.

Also recently posted to the USS Pandora forums was an announcement from Horizon Fleet's Community Coordinator, Commander Jaen Tomas. I encourage you all to take a look at what the commander has to say about some upcoming ideas for community growth and participation at the fleet level.

A third item on the forums that I would like to bring to your attention is the recent opening of a discussion regarding four canon-based items for consideration. This is a continuation of the discussion opened on the Horizon Fleet Forums by Vice Admiral Chris Manley, Horizon Fleet's Director of Research and Development. I would very much like to see your input and discussion on these topics, especially as how you see them relating to the Pandora itself.

At the behest of Vice Admiral Chris Manley and Vice Admiral Kailani Livian, the Horizon Fleet Wiki team has added Monthly Fleet Award pages to the Horizon Fleet Wiki showing all Simm and Post of the Month Awards received since the Horizon Fleet Re-Launch in April 2010. I have also added a page to our global database where you can see the USS Pandora Simm Awards that have been earned by this simm.

The command staff of the USS Pandora very much wishes to provide the opportunity for all members of this simm to improve their simming experience through as many means as possible. These valuable resources are meant to keep you informed and enable you to be engaged in the continuation of our simming community. Please take advantage of them and do not hesitate to let myself or another member of the command staff know if there is anything else we might be able to do that would help to improve your simming experience.
