Silent Thoughts

It is often said that the measure of a man is not in his accomplishments, but in the company he keeps. There are some who would say that I have led an accomplished life, but what value is there to be had in numerous accomplishments if one has forsaken the very bonds that make us human. It is those bonds of friendship that I continue to see demonstrated so vividly by the members of this crew. They have come together countless times to face adversity and conflict...and they have become stronger because of it.

In less than twenty-four hours, this ship will arrive at Deep Space Four as per the orders of Admiral Gareth Bullock (NPC) and I will be required to appear before a Board of Inquiry. There has been no indication as to what I am to be charged with, nor have I received any information other than the simple fact that I am to appear before this board. I would be lying if I said that I did not find these circumstances to be most unusual.

This ship...this crew...is about to face their greatest adversity yet. Their resolve shall be put to the fire once again and I have every confidence that they will come together. The time of trial rapidly approaches...they must be ready.
