Noticing a Few Changes

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We are currently in a time of transition, both as a simulation and as part of a greater simming community. Many of you have probably already started to see a few changes around the website that are geared toward helping us make this transition in a way that will be most beneficial for the Pandora as a whole.

First, I would like to thank Lieutenant Commander Michael Evans for his wonderful service to this community and its members, which has been consistently above and beyond the call of duty since the day he first joined as Chief Medical Officer. He has graciously agreed to succeed Commander Fala Awen in the role of Executive Officer. In recognition of his dedication and willingness to serve, Lieutenant Commander Michael Evans has been promoted to the rank of full Commander with all the rights and privileges thereto.

Second, it is my honor to announce that I will be returning to the position of Task Force Commanding Officer of Task Force 22 within Horizon Fleet after over a year of service as Judge Advocate-General. It is always disappointing to see a member of our community resign from his or her position, even moreso when they are an individual who has showed such promise as a leader. Rear Admiral Dorin Kilus served Horizon Fleet with distinction since its founding and, though his presence among us will be missed, we wish him the best in all his future endeavors.

Please note that although these changes have been made in an out-of-character sense, they will not begin to take effect in character until our current mission has been completed. I know summer can be a difficult time for all of us when it comes to activity levels and posting. It is my hope that we can continue to demonstrate the same level of dedication the Pandora has become known for these past few years.
