Looking to the Future

Ladies and Gentlemen,

As many of you are aware, a mandatory order for roll call was issued to all members of the USS Pandora on 10 July 2011. I would like to thank Commander Michael Evans, Lieutenant Commander Joseph Thompson, Lieutenant Thelin ch'Rassa, and Lieutenant JG Miranda Blackfur for submitting their responses prior to the deadline of 24 July 2011.

Unfortunately, five of our members did not respond to the roll call as requested and have thus been removed from the active manifest. We all know how difficult it can be to balance our simming commitments with the demands of our real life. I have made a concerted effort to work with the members of this simulation in hopes of making that balancing act as easy as possible through use of open communication. It is my hope that we can continue to operate with such an understanding and open policy. Please know my door is always open and that every applicant, new or returning, will be given the same fair hearing.

Those of us who remain must also continue to look toward the future. It is my plan to continue forward with our current mission as best as possible and I encourage anyone with suggestions or thoughts as to how we could proceed to bring them forward for consideration. Following the conclusion of this mission, Captain Iluvar will be restored to his former rank of Rear Admiral by the actions of Vice Admiral Andrew Hawkins. He will then be promoted to the rank of Vice Admiral by Eighth Fleet Chief-of-Staff Admiral Olivia Tavez (PNPC). Until then, please continue to refer to Iluvar as Captain when writing in character for this mission.
